CEMS New User with ESC|StackVision Class
June 15-16, 2009 (Minneapolis, MN)
This class is geared toward I&C Technicians, Plant Engineers, Environmental Coordinators and Reporting Personnel and will focus on the basic features of the ESC|StackVision software. This two-day course is specifically paced for a new user. Participants will receive hands-on experience with the StackVision software and have ample time to cover the entire DAS and associated tasks.

Part 60/75 Regulations Class
June 16-18, 2009 (MInneapolis, MN)
This class is geared toward Reporting Personnel, Plant Managers and Corporate Environmental Staff. This three-day course provides a better understanding of the Part 60 and Part 75 regulations behind specific responsibilities. From this class, participants will become familiar with terms and acronyms, become comfortable with finding various sections in the rule, and understand the reasoning behind testing requirements and associated performance specifications.

ESC|StackVision Version 2.3 Configuration Class
June 17-19, 2009 (Minneapolis, MN)
This class is designed for Environmental Engineers and CEMS Technicians who possess advanced knowledge of ESC|StackVision. This three-day class is designed to provide users with the knowledge to complete larger configuration changes within StackVision. Attendees will learn what constitutes a configuration change or a configuration update, which tools to use to make changes/updates and how to use those tools. This course includes hands-on exercises designed to educate attendees on modifying StackVision configurations.

Understanding Permit Requirements with ESC|StackVision Workshop
June 22, 2009 (Savannah, GA)
This workshop is geared toward Environmental Engineers, CEMS Technicians and Environmental management team members who are responsible for Permit and Part 60 reporting. Participants must possess a basic knowledge of CEMS reporting in order to benefit from this workshop. This workshop is designed to help facilities define the reporting requirements for Part 60 and Permit emissions. Attendees will walk through the Part 60 reporting fundamentals such as emission equations and averaging criteria, validity requirements, operating requirements and conditions, defining of start-up and shutdown, missing data approaches, certification and QA/QC data formats. Through hands-on exercises, attendees will understand how ESC|StackVision meets these requirements.

ESC|StackVision Data Management with NERC CIP Workshop
June 23, 2009 (Savannah, GA)
This workshop is geared toward Environmental Engineers, CEMS Technicians and IT staff members administering ESC|StackVision DAS as a critical asset under the NERC CIP Reliability Standard. Participants must have prior knowledge of basic IT system administrative tasks. In this workshop, attendees will learn how to minimize the risks associated with hardware failure, data loss, data liabilities and poor database performance. Through detailed discussions of NERC CIP Reliability Standard sections that pertain to the CEMS DAS as well as hands-on exercises, participants will gain an understanding of the Data Management Strategy needs and requirements. This knowledge is required to successfully develop and execute a Data Management Plan, ensuring data safety and system performance.

IT Planning Workshop

This workshop is geared toward Environmental Engineers, CEMS Technicians and IT staff members who manage a DAS system. Participants must have a basic knowledge of IT planning processes. This workshop will discuss the latest issues that IT System Administrators need to plan for as they relate to ESC|StackVision and the CEMS industry. The workshop includes discussions regarding the latest plans for operating systems, Microsoft® SQL Server versions, release schedules, security and other system administrative tasks.

ESC|StackVision SQL Server Database Administration Class
June 25, 2009 (Savannah, GA)
As ESC continues down the path of utilizing Microsoft's® SQL Server database, the need to understand more advanced topics of database administration is required. This workshop will go into further depth on the SQL Server database and the tools required for monitoring system performance and troubleshooting database issues. Participants must have knowledge of basic IT system administrative tasks. This class builds on the skills learned in the Understanding Data Management Workshop.

ESC|StackVision Version 2.3 Condensed Configuration Workshop
June 26, 2009 (Savannah, GA)
This workshop is geared toward Environmental Engineers and CEMS Technicians who have previous DAS management experience and teaches participants how to configure ESC|StackVision Version 2.3 to ensure optimal performance. Attendees will learn how to set up the server and perform administrative tasks such as assigning user roles, system designer functions and report execution.
