EPA’s Administrator recently signed a final rule amending the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) requirements in 40 CFR Part 98 to finalize the reporting for users of electrical transmission and distribution equipment. Certain owners and operators of electric power system facilities must report emissions of sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and/or perfluorocarbons (PFCs) from the use of this equipment in 2012.
