As Daniel says, "I came to ESC on a two week contract in August 2007, and well…I haven't left since." After graduating from Maryville College with a degree in Computer Science and Business, and earning his Master's in Business Administration from East Tennessee State University, Daniel joined the QA department at ESC. Since then, he has been a valued member of our team. What does he like most about working at ESC? As a former college athlete, Daniel appreciates the competitive atmosphere at ESC and its ability to drive employees to perform at their best. He also realizes that hard work is seldom accomplished without help from your peers and appreciates being rewarded for a job well done. Among involvement in several "cool" projects at ESC, Daniel has been heavily involved with XML since ESC|StackVision Version 2.0 and wrote the little batch script for Hard Drive backups. He's involved in all things StackVision and still learns something new every day.
When he's not working, Daniel enjoys spending time with his immediate and extended family. He recently became a proud father to his son, Jackson, who was born in May of 2010. Aside from spending time with his family, Daniel enjoys the History and Military channels, social economics, and a variety of sports including NCAA and NFL Football and Major League Baseball. As if Daniel doesn't get enough of technology while he's at work, he also enjoys learning about new technology including virtualization, hardware and software in his spare time.
